Who we are
Loving Pet Cremations is operated by Pasecom Group Ltd, which is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about your data through the contact form.
What we collect
- Booking requests: your pet’s name, species and weight band; where your pet is (home or a named vet surgery); the collection postcode and address; your preferred day and window; whether we may knock; who will be at the address; your name, mobile number and email; and anything you choose to tell us in the notes.
- Messages: your name, email, optional phone number, practice name and message.
- Technical data: the IP address and browser type sent with the form, used to stop spam and abuse, and short-lived records that limit repeated submissions.
We do not ask how your pet died, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies. See the cookies page.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your request, confirm a collection, take payment, collect your pet, arrange the cremation and return the ashes. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and performing that contract.
- To keep records we need for accounts and tax. The lawful basis is legal obligation.
- To protect the form from spam and abuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interests.
- After a booking, to send one email about memorial options. You can tell us not to.
Who we share it with
- The APHA-approved partner crematorium that carries out the cremation receives the details it needs to identify your pet and the booking. It does not receive your contact details unless that is needed for the booking.
- If you are collecting from a vet surgery, we share the booking details the surgery needs to release your pet to us.
- Our website and email hosting provider, IONOS, which stores and transmits the data on our behalf.
- When online payment is added, the payment provider will process your card details; we will not see or store full card numbers.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for six years for accounting purposes. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Anti-spam records are deleted within a day.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be moved to someone else. Use the contact form. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
