How pet cremation with home collection works
You request a collection window online, we confirm and take payment, then collect your pet from home or the vet. Your pet is cremated individually at an APHA-approved partner crematorium and we bring their ashes back to you in a scatter tube, with a certificate.

1. Request a collection
The booking form asks for your pet’s name, what kind of animal they are, a rough weight band for dogs, where they are and the postcode. Then the day and window you would like, and your contact details. It shows a running total as you go. There is no account to create and no payment on the form.
2. We confirm
We check the request and we confirm within 2 hours, by text or email. We confirm the time, the price (including any mileage) and take payment. If something does not fit — a very large dog, a postcode far outside our area — we say so plainly.
3. Collection
We collect from your home or from the vet surgery. You choose the window:
- next morning (roughly 8am–2pm) or next afternoon (roughly 12–6pm), included;
- a chosen two-hour slot, £25 extra;
- after 6pm or on a Sunday, £45 extra.
We come in dark clothing and keep it quiet. If you tick “please do not knock”, we text on arrival instead. If you would rather not be there, tell us who will be, or arrange collection from the surgery.
4. Individual cremation
Your pet is cremated alone at an APHA-approved local crematorium. We collect them, stay with the arrangements, and bring their ashes home.
We do not own or run a crematorium. We are a collection and arrangement service working with an APHA-approved partner crematorium. Dead pets are classed as animal by-products, and in England they can only be cremated commercially at premises approved by the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA). That is where your pet goes.
5. Ashes back to you
The ashes come back in a simple scatter tube, with a certificate. We tell you the expected return date when we confirm and bring the ashes to you. If you want a casket, urn or keepsake, we email the options afterwards. There is no need to choose on the day.
Individual or communal?
In a communal cremation several animals are cremated together and no ashes are returned. We arrange individual cremation, so the ashes you receive are your pet’s. If you would prefer communal, tell us and we will talk it through; the collection is still charged as a visit.
Questions people ask
What does individual cremation mean?
Your pet is cremated alone, and the ashes returned to you are your pet’s only. That is the only kind of cremation we book.
Where does the cremation happen?
At an APHA-approved partner crematorium local to the Midlands. APHA is the Animal and Plant Health Agency, which approves premises that cremate animals. We collect and arrange; the crematorium carries out the cremation.
When do I get the ashes back?
We tell you the expected return date when we confirm your booking, and we bring the ashes back to you.
What should I do before you arrive?
If your pet has died at home, lay them on a towel or blanket somewhere cool, away from direct heat. You do not need to do anything else. We bring what we need to carry them with care.
Can I bury my pet in the garden instead?
In England you can usually bury your own pet on land you own, away from water sources, but we do not offer burial. Cremation ashes from a single pet can be scattered on your own land without a permit.
